Our Leadership

Jim Roberts, Lead Pastor

Jim became the Senior Pastor at Holly Springs in 2023. He and his family previously spent ten years planting churches in India before moving back home to Pickens County and serving as an associate pastor before coming to HSBC. Jim and his wife Autumn grew up in the area and have a deep love for our church and their home community.

Meet the Team

  • Patsy Smith

    MUSIC

Patsy searches out and purchases music for the Adult Choir, Praise Team, Youth, and Children. She believes music is a huge part of our praise and worship, as scripture tells us to “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord” (Psalm 100:1). Within our music program, our practices are often worship services in themselves, and we all grow, share, and sing together for the glory of God. Patsy truly believes that a healthy church is a singing church!

  • Ben & Cassie Hyder

    YOUTH & CHILDREN

Ben and Cassie teach Youth Sunday School and Wednesday night Youth Group and organize all youth and children’s classes, events and outings. They enjoy giving kids in grades 6-12 a safe place to have fun in a Christian atmosphere, while learning Bible truths at the same time. The youth and kids are the future of our church, and Ben and Cassie are dedicated to providing them a solid foundation. Keep up with our youth group by following them here.

  • Jodi Broom

    MEDIA

Jodi leads our Media Ministry, overseeing everything from Sunday and Wednesday A/V and livestreams to graphic design, photography, social media, and tech. Partnering with an awesome team of volunteers, she is dedicated to building a creative, contemporary, and compelling media presence that engages the community, builds deep relationships, and equips growing disciples.

  • Darlene Cassell

    CUSTODIAL

Darlene takes care of cleaning our church each week as well as keeping our fellowship building clean. She views this as a way to serve the Lord and loves seeing that our church is clean before people enter it for worship. She enjoys talking and singing to God while cleaning the church. Darlene thanks God and her church for allowing her to serve in this particular job.

  • Rebecca Summey

    TREASURER

Rebecca is responsible for our finances and budget, overseeing all income and expenses, verifying compliance with federal and state regulations, and maintaining transparency with our congregation. She feels it is her calling to help our church manage the resources God has entrusted to us to the fullest. She enjoys working with our church leadership to provide our ministries with the financial tools necessary to reach others for Christ.
